In this section, the author talks about the self-destructive habits that can surface once a person becomes successful at something, and how to overcome them. The last sections are meant for those in the management sector. Marshall moves on to deal with concerns that pervade a business rather than the individual flaws, and the right strategies for handling these bad habits when they surface in subordinates, as well as in seniors. He highlights how significant it is to be absolutely clear and particular about job errands, and how vital it is to be honest, in order to create a strong and effective work environment.

About The Authors

Marshall Goldsmith is an American thinker, author and educator in the areas of leadership and management. He completed his M.B.A. degree at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and obtained his Ph.D. from UCLA. He then co-founded Keilty, Goldsmith and Company. Some of his other books include Mojo: How to Get It, How to Keep It, How to Get It Back If You Lose It; Coaching for Leadership; and The Leader of the Future.

Mark Reiter is a literary agent, author and editor who has collaborated with Marshall Goldsmith, Phil Dusenberry, Mark McCormack, and Twyla Tharp on their books. He has worked together and edited several books, including The Final Four of Everything and its other edition, The Enlightened Bracketologist: The Final Four of Everything.
